The dust is extracted directly at source with fully or partially enclosed housing.
Most of the dedusting applications are for light to ultra light dust types and sometime there are mixtures such as laser dust and aerosols.
But heavier dust types are also common in metal working applications.
Since the dust is not air borne, it is important to install the suction nozzle as close as possible to the source of dust creation.
The typical suction inlet diameter will be between 25 mm and 100 mm.
The Airvolume range for one suction port is between 60 cbm/h and 1000 cbm/h and the required differential pressure of the dedusting system is within a range of 120 mbar and 280 mbar.
The dedusting system is often linked by controlsystem to the user machine and some monitoring and signal functions could be required.
In many such applications, the production unit, to which the deduster is connected, cannot operate without the dedusting functioning properly.
Under performing dedusters often influence the quality of the product so negatively, that the product is rejected by QC.
It is therefore very important to design the deduster carefully with efficient filter cleaning systems as well as monitoring and selected together with the deduster.
